I feel like I learn a lot while in the club (Menace Beach FTW) 

1. Men are very horny

2. Men like to grab booty

3. Men prefer lighter skin…in most cases

It’s perceived as more feminine, more delicate, more ladylike. Most men will pick the lighter girl over the dark skinned girl if prowling on black women. It’s almost like me being a darkie makes me ugly. Dude i’m black not a victim on an acid attack. It’s almost as if the dude has to get himself super pumped to dance with me while with my lighter friend there are zero inhibitions. Which I guess is a good thing, Whoever still “musters up the courage” to talk to me and ask me to dance though the possibility of rejection still lingers, after discarding the barage of “I’m a strong powerful black woman who don’t need no man” stereotypes that went through their brain

That guy *heh heh*

is probably a very promising potential partner. (I’m ALWAYS on the prowl for a man) and they some me as someone woth giving it a shot.

The club is a poetic experience, broski.

I think that all men, expecially in the club see the lighter ladies as more familiar, desirable someone easier to take home to mom. Hey, maybe these are the things that go through a man’s mind when Big Sean’s “@$$” is blaring through the speakers.

And there are also those studies that say humans are meant to prefer lighter skin because features are easier to see and diseases are easier to detect. My response? Hey, those wrinkles will be very easy to see 5 years from now. Yes, FIVE years. 

It’s funny how I complain about this; I don’t even like the grindy grind-ness with the men-folk. I feel stifled. I can’t dance at full capacity when some guy is trying to minimize my incredible gyrating,

Even though I prefer dancing solo, I relish in the idea of being desired even though it’s lust…. Isn’t that our main goal in life? To smang and be smanged?
